Thuthuvalai leaves are widely used to relieve persistent cold, chest congestion. It is also used for cough, and throat irritation. It is rich in calcium.
HOW TO MAKE
Boil half a teaspoon (2-3g) of Thuthuvalai powder with 150ml of water for 5 minutes, filter and drink. Add salt and pepper to enhance the taste, if required. Take two times daily. It can be mixed with rice, rasam, dosa batter, thuvaiyal and chutney.
